LEWES MUSIC (LM) is a professionally run not-for-profit arts organisation deeply committed to providing high-quality live music events, touring productions, educational programs and community initiatives throughout the South East and UK. Operating as a Community Interest Company (CIC), it collaborates with a diverse group of professional musicians and educators trained in the UK's leading musical institutions.
The organisation has developed an impressive repertoire of professional concert and touring productions that celebrate iconic artists and musical eras through their bands Laurel Canyon UK and Lewes Music Productions. Their productions have honoured legendary acts and eras like ABBA, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and the Laurel Canyon music movement of the 1960’s and 70’s.
Across the years, LM have performed in notable venues including the Cavern Club Liverpool, Glyndebourne Opera House, Cheese and Grain Frome, Half Moon Putney, Tivoli Theatre Wimborne, Gulbenkian Arts Centre Canterbury and Concert Hall & Theatre Perth. In addition to these large-scale shows, Lewes Music runs the Lewes Big Band, renowned for its innovative performances, which include ambitious crossover projects like Pete Long’s Jazz Swan Lake alongside classic big band pieces.
Beyond their artistic endeavours, LM is dedicated to community outreach. They organise workshops, free concerts, and events aimed at making live music accessible to a wider audience. Their initiatives include school outreach programs, livestream performances, and concerts in care homes, all designed to increase participation in live music.

Since graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Dan has gone on to complete further studies at the Conservatorio Monteverdi di Bolzano in Italy.
Dan is a full time freelance musician and regularly performs professionally with the Devon Baroque Orchestra, Kent Sinfonia, Worthing Symphony Orchestra, International Film Orchestra and FullTone Orchestra which in recent years have toured with Aled Jones and Lucy Jones.

Since graduating from BIMM, han has become a core member of Lewes Music, Laurel Canyon UK as well as the original band Reuben’s Daughters.

Since graduating from the University of Chichester Conservatoire, Alice has become a sought after session vocalist and regular musician with Lewes Music, Laurel Canyon UK and with the Nicky Rubin band.
Alice has contributed backing vocals on the Icelandic Eurovision artist Dadi Freyr's track "10 Years" which came 4th in the 2021 contest.

Oscar is the head lighting engineer at the award-winning venue in Worthing, The Factory Live.
Alongside Lewes Music, Oscar has worked with 10cc, Arrested Development, Souls Of Mischief, Lords Of The Underground, Obie Trice, The Blockheads, The Cutting Crew, Mud, Johnny Hates Jazz and XTC.

Ethan is a freelance pianist and bass player who is currently furthering his classical piano studies at the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music.
Ethan is a core member of Lewes Music, Laurel Canyon UK as well as various tours, festivals and musical theatre projects.

Over the last 10 years, he has built a diverse career performing with Lewes Music, Laurel Canon UK, function bands, theatre shows and various original music projects such as the Xander Collective and Erica Matrip,

Aaron is a jazz-trained drummer, based in London. Having recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he is part of numerous original music projects as well as starting to make a name for himself in London's commercial music world.
Playing in some of London's most prestigious jazz venues such as Pizza Express Soho, Ronnie Scott’s and The Vortex Jazz Club, Aaron is an emerging jazz musician and plays with a number of people and groups across the scene.
